"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change." — Carl Rogers

I believe that healing begins in a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. Many of us learn to cope by criticizing ourselves, suppressing difficult emotions, or trying to force change before we feel ready. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful growth happens when we can first meet ourselves with curiosity, compassion, and understanding. I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive environment where you can safely explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or feelings of being stuck, therapy can be a space where all parts of your experience are welcome.

In my therapeutic approach, I believe in the healing power of empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), attachment-based interventions, EMDR Therapy, mindfulness practices, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, I work collaboratively with each client to understand their unique story, build on their strengths, and develop practical strategies that support lasting change. My goal is to help you feel empowered, connected, and more aligned with the life you want to create.

My journey into psychology began in high school, when I first became fascinated by understanding people—their emotions, relationships, motivations, and resilience in the face of life's challenges. What started as curiosity soon became a passion and ultimately a calling. I pursued psychology throughout my academic journey, earning undergraduate and graduate degrees in the field before completing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology.

My doctoral research explored the factors that contribute to Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), specifically examining the role of emotional intelligence, attachment styles, and parenting experiences. This work deepened my understanding of how early relationships shape emotional well-being, self-concept, and interpersonal patterns throughout life. It continues to influence my clinical approach today, particularly in my work with attachment wounds, emotional regulation, trauma, and relationships.

I was born and raised in India and later moved to Canada, a place that has become home in ways I never expected.

These days, one of my most cherished roles is being a mom. Motherhood has brought a new perspective on patience, self-compassion, and the beauty of being present in the moment. Family and friendships are at the heart of my life, and I cherish the moments spent with the people I love.

Outside of my work, I enjoy expressing creativity through painting and movement through dance. I grew up playing basketball and spent many years swimming, experiences that taught me discipline, perseverance, and the importance of enjoying the journey rather than focusing only on the outcome. I also love spending time outdoors, whether it's exploring a new place, going for a walk, or simply enjoying nature. Above all, I value authenticity, self-love, personal growth, and living a life that feels aligned with who I truly am.
