"Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing we’ll ever do." - Brené Brown
My approach to individual healing is grounded in the belief that every person has an innate capacity for growth when met with compassion and understanding. I draw primarily from Person-Centered Therapy, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which allow me to create a space where clients feel safe enough to explore their inner worlds, reconnect with their authentic selves, and move toward lasting change.
I view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative process where clients are treated as the experts of their own lives. My work focuses on building a strong, trusting relationship, honoring the emotional needs that may not have been met in the past, and helping clients rewrite the stories they carry about themselves. I believe that healing begins with self-compassion, deep emotional connection, and the courage to face vulnerability with gentleness and curiosity.
My studies have developed a strong foundation in evidence-based counselling practices and a deep commitment to supporting neurodivergent individuals and those exploring non-traditional relationship structures, areas that align with my professional values and ongoing clinical training. My complementary training with the Salal Sexual Violence Crisis Centre in trauma-informed care allows me to bring a holistic and client-centered approach to my work.

Most of the time, you can find me writing strange fiction, boxing, or on some kind of adventure with the humans I love. I live in Vancouver with my anchor partner and our very opinionated cat, Pan, and value creativity, connection, and authenticity over everything, both in my personal life and in the way I show up for clients. I believe that healing happens when we feel seen exactly as we are, and I try to bring curiosity, compassion, and a little bit of humor into everything I do.
