Caring for myself is not self-indulgence. It is self-preservation.

- Audre Lorde

My healing approach is grounded in the belief that sexual wellness is deeply connected to our capacity for presence, embodiment, and self-compassion. I support individuals in reconnecting with their bodies, understanding their desires, and transforming patterns that keep them feeling stuck or disconnected. My practice is rooted in somatic, experiential learning—helping clients move beyond intellectual insight and into embodied awareness. This means we work with breath, sensation, boundaries, communication, and mindful touch exercises (never sexual contact) to help clients cultivate safety, agency, and pleasure within themselves. I integrate trauma-informed care, nervous system literacy, and pleasure-based education to create a grounded approach that honours the whole person.

My professional qualifications reflect a blend of formal education, specialized training, and hands-on experience in the fields of sexual wellness, communication, and relational support. I hold a BA, having studied International Development with an emphasis on Gender Studies, giving me a strong academic foundation in gender, power, equity, and the social determinants of sexual health. I further expanded my expertise through the Options for Sexual Health’s Sexual Health Educator Certification (SHEC) program, one of the most comprehensive sexual health education training programs in Canada, which prepared me to deliver inclusive, evidence-based sexual health information to diverse communities and demographics. This program equipped me with the relevant and accurate information necessary to help support people's sexual health and wellbeing.

In addition, I am trained in the Somatica® Method of sex and relationship coaching, a highly respected, experiential, and somatic approach that emphasizes emotional attunement, embodiment, intimacy skills, boundary work, and trauma-informed practice. I have also developed extensive hands-on skills through my roles in sexual health retail, workshop facilitation, community outreach, and consent education. Together, this combination of academic study, professional training, and real-world practice gives me a well-rounded, ethically grounded, and deeply informed foundation for supporting clients in their sexual and relational healing.

Outside of my work as a sex coach and educator, I’m someone who deeply values creativity, connection, and simple joys. I’ve called Vancouver home for the past five years after moving here from Ontario, and I’m still in awe of how lucky I am to live between the mountains and the ocean. On my days off, you can usually find me reading on the beach in the summer, and in the winter, I redirect my focus to my crafts, puzzles, and getting into some good books in the bath. I’ve recently fallen in love with long, extended walks and try to get out a few times a week to explore on foot with a podcast and no final destination. I share my home with a sweet bunny, who keeps me grounded and entertained and is a wonderful outlet for my deep love of animals.

My music taste is eclectic, ranging from classical music to Dubstep, depending on the day and the mood. I’m also deeply connected to the local sexual wellness community and even work closely with a Vancouver-based sex toy company, which keeps me inspired and excited about the evolving landscape of pleasure advocacy and inclusive education.

At my core, I’m someone who believes in curiosity, compassion, and the power of pleasure as a form of healing and liberation. The things I love in my personal life enrich my work and help me show up for clients as a full, grounded human—not just a coach.
