“The soul always knows what to do to heal itself. The challenge is to silence the mind” - Caroline Myss

I see therapy as a collaborative restoration project where we aren’t fixing you, but rather uncovering the authentic self that has been hidden by survival strategies or past pain. By creating a space of deep safety, we allow your nervous system to move from a state of surviving to one of processing, where true healing and self-compassion begin.

To support this, I blend empathy with an integrative approach. I draw on Person-Centered and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) while incorporating a variety of theories and techniques to find what fits your unique story best. We move at your pace, using mindfulness to ensure your values, not your fears, are in the driver’s seat. This trauma-informed way of working honors how you’ve adapted to life’s challenges while helping you reclaim a sense of vitality and purpose.

My path to counseling began at the University of British Columbia, where I completed my Bachelor of Psychology with distinction. While researching infant helping behavior, I became fascinated by our innate drive for connection, a spark that led to my commitment to helping people rediscover their authentic selves. I am currently translating that curiosity into clinical practice through my Master’s in Counseling Psychology at Adler University. By combining my background in human behavior with various therapeutic theories and a trauma-informed lens, I help others navigate their internal worlds with a focus on safety and self-trust.

Outside the therapy room, I find balance through quiet creativity and active exploration. I am an avid knitter and crocheter, hobbies that allow me to focus on the process of creation with patience and care. To stay grounded, I lean into the energy of badminton and the regulation of the outdoors, whether hiking, walking, or exploring Vancouver. These personal rhythms help me nurture the authenticity and presence that are central to who I am.
