Now Recruiting for Participants

I am currently collecting participants to take part on a traumatic brain injury study. I’m interested in exploring the experiences of individuals who have acquired a traumatic brain injury and have had in counselling therapy. The findings of this study may help clinicians and researchers like myself able to provide better counselling services to people with traumatic brain injury in the future. I gained the inspiration to conduct this study after many years of experience with working with this population in a supported housing environment.

Participants will be asked to participate in a short, pre-screening interview, followed by a full 90-minute interview about their experiences in counselling. The full interview will be audio recorded, transcribed into text and analyzed. The results may be potentially be published in a journal or presented in a conference, however, confidentiality will be maintained. Names of therapists or identifying information such as place of residence, place of work, names of others will be removed. Participants will be given $10 as compensation
